Is there any way to convert a scanned 200 MB PDF file to an MS Word document?

I don’t know of a good way to do this. Here are three approaches. Use Libreoffice. See a discussion here. How to convert pdf into doc/docx/odt (lowriter) The other one is to use a hefty PC with 8GB or more (preferably more) memory and open the PDF file in a PDF reader (I use Convert Word To Pdf Online Reader DC.) Highlight the first character and the press . This will highlight the entire file. The press C. This will copy the file to the paste buffer. Then, while leaving the PDF open, create a word processor docx file. inside of the docx file press V. This will paste the file into the docx file. Save it immediately. Then you can close the PDF file if you want to and reopen the docx file for editing. There are web sites that will do this, some for free. The above assumes that the PDF is in text format and not image format. If it is in image format, there are programs (that cost money) that will textulize the document. (The cheap way is to print it and then scan it.) There is still a lot of hand editing as the document structure usually gets lost. Also sometimes you have to reinsert any images by hand.
