If I want the info from a pdf, I’ll select, copy & paste in the editor I prefer at that time, any will do. That’s not perfect, of course, but I can be resourceful. Never a problem to him, though the editor previous to me used SOME windoze applet which sometimes was adequate, sometimes not, and often a PITA to one or the other Windoze machines.

You can also check the ‘Print Options’ in the Info dialogue by doing a Search for ‘Print Options’ then open the ‘Print Options’ panel. By default, Apple defaults this to ‘Use this application to print’, which will be selected by default for the most basic printer options in all systems. ’Using it with a Mac to print’ will select the ‘Save as ’PDF’ option instead, even if it doesn’t have a native App menu. If you want to choose either, then use ‘Print’ then ‘Save As’PDF’ to select this option (it may take a minute or so to load). However, if this option does not appear then go to ′Preferences’>Print and click on ‘Configure PDF and then ‘Add Options’ to add the option. Finally, if the above methods do not work, then use ‘Export to PDF’ to save.
